We educate people for tomorrow's world.

We educate people for tomorrow's world.

The founder of the College is Galilea Sp. z o.o.(a limited liability company) which has an extensive experience in teaching. In 1995 Galilea founded Centrum Edukacji Zdrowotnej “Promocja” (Health Education Centre) organising vocational qualification medical and humanities courses; this was followed by the opening of Wielkopolska Szkoła Medyczna (the Wielkopolska Medical School) – a non-public post-secondary school offering pharmaceutical technician, massage technician, occupational therapy, physiotherapy technician, dental technician and dental assistant programmes.

The initiative of the students of Wielopolska Szkoła Medyczna, mainly physiotherapy students, led to the development of a concept to form a higher education institution which would educate medical professionals.

The College of Education and Therapy was founded as the first non-public higher education institution in Poznań to teach physiotherapists. The goal of its founders, professor Kazimiera Milanowska, MD, PhD, and Violetta Musa, MA, was to create a higher medical education institution.

The College of Education and Therapy was formed in February 2005 and entered by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education into the register of non-state higher education institutions and associations of non-state higher education institutions under the number 315.

The graduates are the best ambassadors of the College – their opinions and careers count most.
